We all dressed up this year for Halloween. I know it isn't Halloween yet, but we had our ward party yesterday. Since we don't want any sugar in our house right now, we decided this would be the only trick or treating Chase would do. Ethan was a good sport about dressing up. It is my idea every year, but it was fun for our little family to be characters from Super Mario Bros. My costume isn't a convincing Princess Peach, but there aren't many options when you are pregnant. They didn't even have a blond wig with hair that wasn't in Braids. Chase was so cute as Mario. Everybody loved him. He liked saying Trick or Treat, and he always said thank you. Some of the ladies in the ward wanted to take him home. I think that was a very proud mommy moment for me. We also found that people in Germany are very into Super Mario Bros. All the German kids knew exactly who we were, and wanted to take pictures of us. Most of the American families had a tougher time. It really made Ethan and I feel old when one of the girls in primary had no idea who we were. We had fun. I think these are the cutest costumes we have had so far.

These are the pictures of us all dressed up on Halloween. We had a lot of fun with Chase this year. He didn't get the concept of trick-or-treating, but he enjoyed the Jack-o-Lanterns or anything that would light up. He was a little heart-breaker. He really made people smile when he would say "ank oo" :-) He even blew a few kisses. We got a lot of comments about how we were a cowboy family, or how we looked like we should be saying Y'all. Anyways. We had a ton of fun.
